UAS Dharwad Courses

University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad was established in 1986. The University was established to provide assistance to the farming community in the 12 northern districts of Karnataka State. The University offers graduate, post graduate courses and research facilities in agriculture science and related fields.

Bachelor Courses

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates to be eligible for admission to undergraduate degree programmes of the University should satisfy the following requirements
  
  
• A pass in two years PUC science examination of the Karnataka Pre-University Board or an equivalent examination with the combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and with any one science subject.
  
  OR
  
  
• A pass in two years PUC science examination of the Karnataka Pre-University Board with Inter-Agriculture subject.
  

Master Courses

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in the subject from a recognized university mentioned below for each subject group with CGPA / OGPA of not less than 2.25/4.00 or 6.00 / 10.00 or an equivalent CGPA / OGPA.

Doctoral Courses

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate should possess a Master’s degree with CGPA / OGPA of not less than 2.50/4.00 or 6.50 / 10.00 or an equivalent CGPA / OGPA or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Agricultural University in the same subject in which candidate seeks to specialize in Ph.D. degrees.
