KLE Courses Belgaum

KLE University in Belgaum, Karnataka, was established in 2006. The University was granted the status of a Deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956. It mainly offers courses in medical field. The University is administered by the Karnataka Lingayat Education Society or KLE Society.

KLE University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, post doctoral, fellowship and certificate programmes in the field of Health care. KLE University has also introduced some need based fellowship programmes in various specialties and PhD programme in health facilities and inter-disciplinary research. The existing curriculum of the University has been redesigned by integrating information and communication technology (ICT) to meet the changing global demands. The University has collaborated with renowned organizations viz. ICMR, WHO and several Universities in USA and also in SE Asia.
