The state of Karnataka conducts various state-level exams for selection to various professional programmes in the state.

All the state universities employ rakings in the entrance examination to gauge the suitability of candidates for their various Diploma, Post Diploma, Degree, Post Graduate and Research and Fellowship programs.

At present, the following state level entrance exams are conducted across Karnataka:

  1. Karnataka Management Aptitude Test - (K-MAT)
